I recently came down to Fl for a week for the purpose of purchasing a home suitable for both vacation and retirement. Joe Zeagler corresponded with me by email before I came down, so he had a general idea of the type of houses I wanted to see, and I had an realistic idea of what was available in my price range from the many pictures he sent me. He came over the evening before we were scheduled to go out house hunting, and went over the houses he had lined up and other possibilities we could add on for the net day or the day after. He showed up on time, he knew just where all the houses were, and he patiently pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of each house with particular attention to the details I had indicated were important to me, such as concerns for long-distance maintenance. Joe was also very helpful in teaching me things about living in FL that I would not even have thought to ask about as a native of New York state. This insight into the big picture and the excellent choice of which houses to see helped me to select the perfect house, not once but twice. My first offer was made on a house where the owner had just accepted another offer. Joe and I had another strategy session, we went out again the next day, and I had an accepted offer on the perfect house by that evening. I think Joe’s talent in working with the other real estate agents was an asset that truly helped seal the deal, since the second house had extensive interest from other buyers. I believe my offer was selected because the other agent and the owners liked the respectful attitude, friendly style, and attention to detail Joe demonstrated in every aspect of the transaction. The few things that turned up in the inspection were dealt with smoothly and promptly by Joe, so all I had to do was come back later for an uneventful closing. I recommend Joe and his fellow Remax agents to all my friends and family who have since expressed an interest in FL homes after hearing of my success in finding the perfect deal.
